Houses of Power

THE CHURCH AS GOD DESIGNED IT: EKKLESIA

In the New Testament, the Church is called EKKLESIA — a governmental word. When Caesar sent out a team to plant a new colony, he chose a few entrusted leaders, trained them in Roman culture, and sent them out to reproduce Rome wherever they landed.

God's strategy is the same — but far greater. In Matthew 28:19, Jesus sent out His Ekklesia to establish outposts of Heaven on Earth. Everywhere we go, what we build should reflect the Kingdom of God!

And in the early Church, it did: They gathered in homes, filled with the presence and power of God, and lives were transformed. Miracles happened. The lost were saved. And the Church grew exponentially.

Acts 1:8 – "But you shall receive POWER (dunamis) when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be My witnesses to the ends of the earth."

WHAT IS A HOUSE OF POWER?

It's simple. It's powerful. It's a gathering in a home or workplace, centred around Jesus - where His presence is real, His Word is living, and His power is flowing.

A HOUSE OF POWER is:

• A place of fellowship and family (OIKOS)
• A place where any group can gather — youth, women, businessmen, friends, intercessors
• A place of discipleship, prayer, and Holy Spirit-led action
• Any day, any time — Tuesday mornings, Thursday nights, lunch hour online, or Sunday evenings
• Online or in-person: Use Zoom, WhatsApp, Skype — invite 3, 5, or 10 people and begin!

You don't need a pulpit or a stage — just a heart burning with love for Jesus and the lost.

WHAT HAPPENS IN A HOUSE OF POWER?

• We gather as a spiritual family, knowing and loving one another with Agape Love.
• We study the Word of God together in a simple, life-giving, interactive way.
• We pray together, interceding for one another and the lost.
• We welcome the Holy Spirit to flow with supernatural gifts: healing, prophecy, tongues, miracles.
• We invite new people weekly — loving them into the Kingdom. (Use the book: "Your Salvation Revealed")
• We raise up new leaders to start their own groups. (Use the book: "Mantled for More")
• We multiply when the group grows beyond 12–14. (We'll train you how!)

As 3–5 Houses of Power are planted in an area, we begin to gather for celebration services, and this becomes a church planting movement!
