Welcome to Powerhouse
A living relationship with Jesus Christ
We are a Christ-centred, Spirit-empowered Christian movement passionate about bringing people into a living relationship with Jesus Christ.
We believe that Christianity is more than religion. It is a life-changing relationship with God that transforms hearts, restores lives, strengthens families, and empowers people to make a difference.
Whether you are searching for answers, struggling with life's challenges, hungry for more of God, or looking for a spiritual family, there is a place for you at Powerhouse.
Our foundation
Love. Hope. Power.
These are the values that shape the way we welcome people, build community and make room for the Holy Spirit.
Hope — a place where lives are restored
No life is beyond God's restoring grace. The broken-hearted can find comfort, the discouraged can discover new hope, and those who have lost their direction can begin a new journey with God.
Power — a place where lives are transformed
Through God's Word, prayer, worship, and the gifts of the Spirit, believers are equipped to grow in faith, overcome life's challenges, and fulfil their God-given purpose.
Our mission
Bringing God's presence to people
We exist to introduce people to Jesus Christ, help them become mature disciples, and equip them to bring His love, truth, and power into their families, communities, workplaces, and nations.
We believe every believer has a calling, every person has value, and everybody has a part to play in God's work.
We are not simply building meetings or organisations. We are building people who will impact generations!
Church beyond buildings
Houses of Power
Inspired by the early Church in the Book of Acts, our Houses of Power bring people together in homes and communities to worship, build meaningful relationships, study the Word, pray, discover spiritual gifts, grow as disciples, and reach their communities with God's love.
Our dream is to see a House of Power within reach of every person. Whether you want to join an existing House of Power or help establish one in your community, we would love to walk the journey with you.
